For Fabien, Quebec-born classical pianist, being introduced to classical and popular musics of all kind early on in life (even before birth!) was the first step into becoming a fully fledged musician.

After taking his first piano lesson at the age of 4, he then pursued his musical and theoretical training at l'École de Musique Vincent d'Indy for 13 years. After he finished High school, he then did a 3 years Double Program in CEGEP (Science & Music) with the teacher and pianist Marie-Claude Bilodeau. Three years later, he graduated from the Schulich School of Music, McGill University, under pianist Stephane Lemelin's teaching.

Pursuing his doctoral studies at l'Université de Montréal, he hopes to acquire as many musical experiences as possible. As much as Fabien enjoys the solo repertoire, he already started to expand his musical horizons by performing with smaller and larger ensembles. He also developped a liking into sharing his love for music via teaching and online performances.
